The spot was filmed in mid-November, the Winston-Salem Journal reported, and to air “sometime this week, barring any unexpected schedule changes.”
Mary’s Diner ended the pray to pay less policy because of a complaint from the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
Mary Haglund, a co-owner of the restaurant, said the show’s producers “told me they saw me as a nice lady trying to do something positive and pretty much got bullied by the FFRF.”
