With his memoir at number 8 on the non-fiction bestseller list, Andy Cohen, star of Watch What Happens Live, is living a story that has not yet been written. For the author of “The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look at a Shallow Year, ” It is certainly eventful, with a full cast of characters, including former stars from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, many of whom he counts among his friends, to his ongoing search for love, to freak accidents.
Recently, Cohen had to have his head stapled because a mirror broke on his head. He was quite lucky and grateful to the surgeons, as reported by the examiner. The 46 year old Bravo star tweeted, “THANK you to the new downtown Lennox ER. They stapled my head after a freak accident when I got home from WWHL last night. All is OK!”
What might be more frightening than his accident are the 5 people Cohen says might be upset with certain things mentioned in his book. One of them is the actor Kevin Spacey, and he actually calls upon the actor to come out of the closet.

Andy Cohen is one of the first openly gay late night talk show hosts. However, one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars interviewed him for Bravo and he admitted he had never slept with a woman, “I’m Gold Star gay.”
They mystery that surrounds Cohen, in the minds of many is why he is still single. Patti Stanger, third generation matchmaker, told HuffPost, “I’ve got to tell you. He’s one hot potato. I’d love to fix him up. But he’s my boss…how do you do that…that’s a little weird.” Stanger admits she has interviewed his parents, had Cohen come on the program, and has concluded he should date Anderson Cooper, “but Anderson’s taken and they are best friends.”
“Maybe his next book will be about how I fix him up, ” said Stanger.
