As if gambling weren’t risky enough, champion poker player, Michael Mizrachi is promoting bitcoin in an online poker room, GetLuckyPoker.com, according to online poker.net. Poker isn’t much of a gamble for this poker maven; Mizrachi is a 3 time WSOP bracelet winner and has cleaned up $14, 580, 583 in tournament earnings. However, many people, even gamblers are leery about the newfangled online currency, and Mizrachi wants to change all that.
For gamblers especially, bitcoin delivers the advantages of anonymity and easy access. Currently the site is only partially operational. Another site, called Breakout Coin will use the digital currency. Mizrachi, known as “The Grinder, ” said, “We are all gamblers. We aren’t afraid of losing. We all think bitcoin will rise up. It’s new to me, but I will take the risk, and I feel it will be a success.”
