Sarah Silverman Redacts her Bill Cosby Rape Joke

Sarah Silverman has backtracked on her Joke about all of the recent accusations of rape which have been leveled against Bill Cosby.

Silverman had told her more than 5 million followers on Twitter, “Bill Cosby gave me one of those ‘don’t be dirty’ lectures but I was unconscious & he was talking about my a-hole.” An hour later she engaged in self-censorship and re-tweeted, “Bill Cosby gave me one of those ‘don’t be dirty’ lectures but I was rendered unconscious.”

The change came after Silverman’s followers tweeted her complaints which included “Your joke makes light of women’s actual pain. Not OK, ” “So the humor here is that real women have, in the past & recently, come forward about being raped by this man?” “This is the dumbest tweet I’ve ever read…. And I’ve seen some damn dumb tweets, ” and “Maybe I’m just a downer, but decent ppl don’t take the horrendous crimes committed against others as joke opportunities.”

In other Sarah Silverman news the 44 year old comic has taken a turn teaching kids on the web series “Laugh Lessons”, hosted by Kevin Nealon.”

In her installment of the series Silverman tries to teach two kids about comedy. The kids, a boy and a girl, change every few seconds.
