Young Woman Run Over, Stabbed, by Arab, 2 injured in West Bank Jewish Town Attack

A woman, 25, was run over and then stabbed to death Monday evening in the Gush Etzion cluster, directly south of Jerusalem, in an attack at a bus stop near Elon Shvut. Two additional people were attacked, one was stabbed in the stomach and is in mild to moderate condition, the other’s condition is mil. The two living victims were transferred to hospitals in Jerusalem.

The Arab terrorist first ran over the Jewish woman standing at a hitchhiking stop. He drove off and then came back with a knife and stabbed her to death while she was lying on the ground. He then attacked two other Jews who stood at a nearby bus stop.

A security guard shot the attacker, wounding him severely.

Hamas media sources reported that the terrorist is Maher al-Shalmun from Hebron. Security forces are searching the area, and the road from Alon Shvut to the rest of Gush Etzion is blocked in both directions.
