Home Depot: 53 Million email addresses stolen by hackers

The Home Depot Inc. says hackers stole 53 million email addresses in addition to the payment card data it previously disclosed. It says the hackers accessed its network from a third-party vendor.

The Atlanta retailer disclosed in September one of the largest data breaches, affecting 56 million debit and credit cards between April and September.
