Well, you can’t get lucky on the street all the time, even if you are famous for ‘Sex and the City.” First, Sarah Jessica Parker and her hubby Matthew Broderick put their Manhattan townhouse on the market for the asking price of $22 million. Then Parker is walking along, minding her own business and bends over (ooh…was she wearing a miniskirt?) to find $47, 000. But relax, it was merely a check. She couldn’t cash it.
Well, that would encourage a gal to spend a lot of time on the street to see what she can get. In front of the location of many a rendezvous as Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City, ” Parker decided (without permission, but that would show a lack of spontaneity, and in any case, permission is for little people) to display her line of colorful footwear, as she minced or rather clack-clacked (those heels are rather high) walking the street alongside her invisible, one footed mute, non-dancing line of ghostly chorus girls (or at least, it looks exactly that eerie).

While happily displaying her SJP Nordstrom heels collection on Instagram, she blissfully ignores signs that instruct “Sex and the City” fans to kindly stay off the steps of 66 Perry Street (but she isn’t just a fan, she WAS the show, so it doesn’t apply to her, does it?” After all, fans are little people. As reported by CBS News, many people were upset, not least Gerald Banu, President of the Perry Street Association, “I heard about the shoot. They didn’t get permission from the owner. The situation with SATC (what else, Sex and the City) visitors is still very intense. People who are here are upset that the sidewalk get jammed.” Banu is not thrilled about news of a Sex and the City movie. He added, “The only thing I would suggest to SJP (who else? Sarah Jessica Parker) is that when they write the script, please move Carrie to new address.”
