Rapper Drake and his entourage are stuck in St. Martin waiting for Hurricane Gonzalo to fly through, Page Six reports, adding—in familiar NY Post prose—that the entourage has been “kicking up their own storm of trouble.”
You just have to admire the NY Post, not just for delivering the unavoidable hurricane pun, but also for holding back on what they could have done with the Gonzalo part.

So, anyway, Friday night Canadian rapper P. Reign “hooked up with a girl who was not single” (you know there’s a Country ballad in there someplace), and the boyfriend found out and trashed his own hotel room with an explosion of rage, because, let’s face it, ruining the workday of hotel cleaning crews is what talented people do.
Drake is in St. Martin to film a music video for P. Reign’s new song “DnF.” Drake threw a party for P. Reign on Friday night at the popular Tantra nightclub (which may not have been popular before, but it sure is popular now), accompanied by “rumored girlfriend video vixen Lira Galore.”
Video vixen? Is that really a thing? Well, the Urban Dictionary says so:
Not to be confused with the video ho, the video vixen is a woman of a different and astonishing nature.
The dictionary then gets into more detail, which made us less and less comfortable, and in the end we decided we’d rather not date a video vixen. But what do we know? We never had what it takes to trash our hotel room. Although we did walk away with our share of towels.
Page Six alleges that allegedly P. Reign took one of the women back to Drake’s $20, 000-a-night villa nearby.
Damn, that’s steep rent. But I suppose they have to charge a lot, what with all the room trashing that’s been going on lately.
And the, what do you know, that alleged woman’s alleged boyfriend found out and got so jealous he trashed his own hotel room at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, across the street from Tantra, causing as much as $5, 000 in damage. And then the police came and he was “ultimately arrested.”
That’s the worst kind of arrest, we’re told.
Another source told Page Six the lad damaged the entire fifth floor of the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, and there was smoke.
Monday night, while Drake was still in St. Martin, since Gonzalo had been freshly upgraded to a hurricane and was headed to the island, P. Reign tweeted, “Made it off that island in the nick of time. Thank God for private jets. Everybody else in the crew stuck in St. Martin for days. Hurricane.”
Now, people, now is when you should be trashing your hotel rooms.
