Life must be tough for Larry David. Not only is he one of the most famous and successful comedians in the world and a multi-millionaire to boot, but now he has to deal with having one of the most famous and most beautiful young actresses in the world publicly profess the fact that she has a crush on him, namely Jennifer Lawrence.
Just imagine how awful it must be to be rich, famous and single in your sixties and find out that a twenty something Oscar winning screen siren who is wanted by all of the heterosexual men in the world is interested in you. That’s gotta hurt, as George Costanza, David’s alter ego, might say.

In the latest issue of Vanity Fair on which the blonde bombshell graces the cover, Lawrence is quoted as saying in answer to a question about whether or not she likes Larry David, “I’m in love with him, and I have been for a really long time. I worship Woody Allen, but I don’t feel it below the belt the way I do for Larry David.”
The co-creator of Seinfeld was asked about that somewhat provocative comment that could be construed by some to be an open offer when appearing at the New Yorker Festival on Saturday. In response David said, “Maybe she’s referring to her knees. I don’t think I could do it. On one hand it’s very flattering and on another hand, it’s kind of a shame — in terms of timing. I’d have fun watching the reality show of it though.”
“Smart kid. It’s a shame that I’m about 40 years older than she is, ” the television star added.
For the record Jennifer Lawrence is 24 and Larry David is 67. If the two were to get together and have kids then David would join the ranks of fellow icons of comedy the late Charlie Chaplin and Tony Randall who both married women young enough to be their granddaughters at a the age of retirement and fathered children with them.
At the same event David also said that while he is not ruling out the Possibility of doing another season of his groundbreaking HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm, he has no plans at this time to do so.
