There’s a new Internet craze, replacing the Ice Bucket Challenge, where celebrity participants are invited to post selfie shots of themselves in bed right after waking up.

The #Wakeupcall campaign was prompted by UNICEF to raise money for its Syria Emergency Fund.

You may recall the #nomakeupselfie challenge for the Cancer Awareness campaign. It claims to have gone viral earlier this year, so if you never saw it you must have been on a different planet. Or you have no Internet. Who are you, anyway?

Back to the sadness at hand: Hugh Laurie’s better half, funny man and all around smart guy Stephen Fry posted a #Wakeupcall image for all his 7.5 million followers on Twitter to see. Ouch…
