Amanda Bynes Arrested for DUI – Again

This shouldn’t happen to a nice Jewish girl. Actress Amanda Bynes, 28, was arrested at 3 AM last Sunday for DUI, according to E! News, who found out about it from the California Highway Patrol.

Bynes was charged with a misdemeanor after police “determined she was under the influence of a controlled substance” while driving. Bynes, of Nickelodeon fame, was kept behind bars at the Van Nuys station on $15, 000 bail. She finally made bale in the afternoon.

Her court date is scheduled for Oct. 23.

Back in February, Bynes was placed on a three-year probation, according to E!, following her 2012 DUI arrest. Back then, she was ordered to complete a three-month alcohol education program as part of the plea deal.

Not what you call a good student.

Bynes was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, to a Jewish mother whose family came from Romania, Russia, and Poland.
