Stella McCartney’s Superhero Jaguars Take the Paris Streets by Storm

Jaguar XE by Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney-designed XE Experience XE Jaguars will transport VIPs to the Paris Fashion Week starting September 29th. The Jaguars are limited edition and designed by Stella McCartney, who has a show during Fashion week. Her characteristic whimsical superhero print decks the Ian Callum-designed shape.

Stella McCartney commented, “It was interesting to adapt my playful superhero print for the XE. Jaguar is a British brand that’s full of heritage, charm and one I’ve admired for years, so it’s a pleasure to finally be working directly with them.”

Ian Callum commented, “It’s a beautiful demonstration of Stella’s commitment to elegance, style as well as functionality and performance, which are attributes that I looked to express in Jaguar XE.”

Following Fashion Week, Stella’s XE autos will make an appearance at the Paris Motor Show.

Stella McCartney, if you haven’t already guessed, is the daughter of iconic Beatle, Paul McCartney and animal activist Linda McCartney, formerly Eastman. Linda’s father, Leopold Veil Epstein, of Russian Jewish ancestry, changed his name to Eastman. Ironic that the Beatles would have a manager named Brian Epstein, but the coincidence is probably in name only.
