Lebenthal Launches Magazine for Female Financial Advisers

SAYRA

The co-founder of Lebenthal Wealth Advisers was a woman named Sayra, who started the business with her husband Louis in 1925 and worked there until she was well into her 90s. There are many more female financial advisers today than there were in 1925, but there are still unique challenges women face in the profession, and to address this, Alexandra Lebenthal, CEO of Lebenthal Wealth Advisers,  has launched a magazine named for her grandmother, “Sayra, ” as a resource for female financial advisers.

The quarterly is distributed electronically and has 90, 000 women subscribers who manage a total of $3 trillion in assets. Alexandra Lebenthal commented, “It is not always easy to be a woman in this business, and our publication hopes to become the voice on issues and ideas that are crucial to female financial advisers …. whether our readers are financial advisers at wire houses, regional or independent firms, or running their own RIAs, this magazine will deliver them the inspiration, tools and support they need to thrive and grow their business.”
