Mazal Tov! Scarlett Has Baby Girl

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" - UK Film Premiere - Red Carpet Arrivals

Scarlett Johansson and fiance Romain Dauriac get a mazal tov. The 29 year old star of Her who has been an actress practically since she was out of diapers is now a mom for the first time. Both mother and baby are reportedly doing well, and the little girl’s name is Rose.

In September of 2013, she sported an engagement ring at the Venice Film Festival alongside Dauriac, then a few months later, was seen with a baby bump but kept a low profile, skipping even the Comic-Con this year.  The couple were seen a month ago, with Scarlett nearly popping out her charming overalls in NYC. Scarlett and Romain intended to have the baby first and wedding bells are for later.

Scarlett Johansson’s mother is Jewish, and she made a famous and controversial stand against BDS when she did a commercial for SodaStream, despite protests from anti-Israel groups. She was ditched by Oxfam, a pro BDS British charity she has been involved with, because of her appearance in the Sodastream commercial. Well, we know whose loss that was, and it wasn’t Scarlett’s, Sodastream’s or Israel’s.
