China CEE Fund and Israeli Enlight Renewable Energy will invest $1.3 billion zlotys ($406 million) in two Polish wind-power projects that are expected to generate 250.5 megawatts of installed capacity. The wind farms, Wroblew and Project 2 were developed by GEO Renewables. Wroblew is expected to be finished in November and Project 2 is scheduled to be functional by 2015. GEO will still retain minority ownership.
China CEE will own 49.9% and Enlight will have a 50.1% stake. China CEE said it had around $500 million to invest in similar projects in Eastern Europe over the next three years.
