Going All the Way: Simon Cowell’s New 8-Piece Boyband

Simon Cowell & x-factor

Music mogul Simon Cowell has created a new eight-piece boyband, which he’s convinced can go all the way in this year’s X Factor.

The band – no name as of yet – impressed judges and audience alike, and so, according to the Daily Mirror, Simon told them: “We made the decision we couldn’t split you up.”

Inspiration, thy name is Simon C.

Cowell’s paternal grandmother was Jewish and immigrated from Poland. So, if he wanted to he could apply for Israeli citizenship, and that’s good enough for us.

“There’s so many four piece bands, five piece bands, three piece bands, ” Simon told the 8-piecers, suggesting—gushingly—that “to see eight talented guys because the sound of your vocals together on the chorus, it’s like I’ve never heard this before from a group like this. You’re one of the best groups we’ve had on the show.”

Not The best, mind you, just one of the best.
