The couple’s marriage kind of ended for the first time in 2008, when they separated so Duchovny could seek treatment for his sex addiction.

Then they reunited and re-split a whole bunch of times, then they were giving the marriage another chance, you know the drill.

But now it’s over for good, according to TMZ, because Duchovny filed for divorce in June 14, for the reason of the marriage being broken (honest, that’s what he wrote down), and a settlement has been reached and that’s it.

Leoni will have primary custody of their two children, Kyd Miller, 12, and Madelaine West, 15, but the stars share joint legal custody. Duchovny, whose Showtime series “Californication” ended its seven-season run in late June, will reportedly pay $40, 000 a month in spousal support and $8, 333 a month in child support.

He needs work, for sure.
