The daughter of actors Eddie Fisher and Connie Stevens and the half sister of actress Carrie Fisher, Joely Fisher is a television star in her own right. The 46 year old actress has starred on such notable American television programs as Ellen in the 1990s and more recently Till Death, and has made appearances popular programs such as Desperate Housewives. She has also co starred opposite Jim Carey in The Mask.

Her current residence, a house in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood in Los Angeles, which she and her husband, bought in 2007 for $3.5 million, has just been put on the market for $4.19 million. This amounts to about a 20%, or 2.8% annual, return on their investment. The house stands on one half an acre of land just north of the famous Fossil Ridge Park in the Santa Monica Mountains. It has 9830 square feet, seven bedrooms, seven and one half bathrooms, two floors, a separate dinning room, a media room and a gourmet kitchen. There is a two car garage, swimming pool, loggia and detached guest house with its own rooms and kitchen all on the property.
