Elek & Noss LLC, a local CPA firm serving the greater Cleveland area announced the hiring of Dave Worden as their new Senior Staff Accountant to assist the growing firm with financial and general accounting functions. Worden joins the growing firm to provide additional finance and accounting support to the Partners. His responsibilities will include monthly financial reporting and analysis, assistance in planning and performing field audits, preparation of tax returns, as well as other general accounting functions.

Prior to Elek & Noss, Worden worked for the Ohio Auditor of State as an assistant auditor where he gained experience auditing clients financial statements and investigating fraud allegations. He later owned and operated two Liberty Tax Service offices located in North Olmstead and North Ridgeville. There Worden hired, trained and managed up to 30 employees, while he prepared tax returns and monthly financial statements for clients. In addition, he also advised clients on IRS regulations and impacts on their personal returns. Worden is a graduate of Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio with a degree in accounting and sports management.
