Mercury’s retrograde, who began on October 21, will continue until November 11, with its effects lingering on for four more days, to November 15. This means more potential failures, economic disruption, the breakdown of mechanical and other devices and instruments, all types of accidents, possible loss, forgetfulness, misinformation, faulty supposition, and more. Count your change carefully!
A typical example of a problem occurring during Mercury’s retrograde was the global uproar that resulted when it was revealed that the USA had been listening in on German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s calls for the past several years. The backlash from this revelation has clouded the political atmosphere, and eroded the solid trust between the two countries. It won’t be easy to regain that previous mutual trust.

November will see another cosmic drama taking place: a solar eclipse whose influence will last nine months.
The eclipse will take place on November 3, in Scorpio. Since Scorpio affects the global economy, there will unfortunately occur economic events of a dramatic nature that will have an effect on many countries in the following nine months. The eclipse will affect decisions regarding the economy, politics and security. The world may be somewhat less safe this year.
Also, in November – Jupiter begins a retreat on the 7th of the month whose repercussions will be felt for the next four months.
Jupiter rules Sagittarius and is responsible for the economic sphere, international trade, import and export, business development, and global growth opportunities. Companies in many different geographical locations will undergo additional layoffs and even the closing of branches. This means a diminishing quantity of work and less growth.
During Jupiter’s retreat it is not recommended to open new businesses or start new ventures.
Jupiter’s withdrawal creates a reduction in opportunity. There is no atmosphere of abundance when Jupiter is retrograde.
Usually, Jupiter’s temperament engenders optimism, sometimes even excessively so, and the markets need optimism to flourish.
However, when Jupiter enters this withdrawal phase, optimism fades, and reality is a slap in the face.
Jupiter’s usual conduct breeds confidence. Not so when it is retrograde. Self-confidence is an important factor fueling the economic engine. As Jupiter begins its withdrawal, losses are likely to occur. Its boldness and power could now cause excessive risk taking, which now could be dangerous. Therefore, avoid gambling, and taking large financial risks.
In brief: Jupiter’s withdrawal means: Hold off! Caution!
There will be other deleterious economic events coming until March 2014, so it would be best to wait before making important decisions.
We are currently going through a period in which multiple natural disasters will cause the loss of human lives and downturns in the economic sphere. Uranus – Pluto have an effect on corporations and large companies that are undergoing significant changes ranging from bankruptcy to company restructuring. New partnerships are formed and internal evolution takes place.
Watch for large high-tech companies to change in the near future.
More dramatic events : on the 6th Venus enters Capricorn, concurrently with the retreat of Jupiter from Cancer – heralding a period of economic news that you would rather not hear.
And why? …Because the sign of Capricorn deals with basic human needs. When Venus arrives in Capricorn under the influence of Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, Venus is forced to contract and becomes connected to a reduced position in its influence over world economic events. The southern hemisphere of the globe may be confronted with harsh natural disasters such as severe like drought and rampant fires. The northern hemisphere in contrast, may suffer major damage from flooding.
The transit of Venus coinciding with the retrograde of Jupiter leads the economic crises that characterize this entire month. Usually this means a reduction in the quantity of materials, food, and basic global commodities with a corresponding rise in prices. It is probable that natural disasters and erratic weather patterns will even more dramatically affect the global stability in the basic materials necessary for human existence and survival.
First week in November
Despite all the aforementioned calamities, we start the month with a positive aspect of the stars. There is an atmosphere of new beginnings on the business level, work activities are started, and a good economic strengthening takes hold.
On November 3rd there will occur an annular solar eclipse. Eclipse will be visible in the western U.S., the northern region of South America, in the center of the Atlantic Ocean, most all of the continent of Africa, southern Europe, Turkey and the Middle East.
A total eclipse will begin as a deficit annular eclipse east starting from the east coast of the U.S. and become a total eclipse south of the Ivory Coast and then revert to an annular eclipse in Central Africa, and remain that way from then on.
The eclipse occurs in Scorpio, when the sun and the moon are close to Saturn in Scorpio at an aspect of 150 degrees towards Uranus – is a condition that can be expected to cause natural disasters.
Jolts and shocks may affect the business world, powerful events that can create unwanted change. Turmoil, crises. Employment terminations, layoffs, unwanted leaving of the work place… The effect of the eclipse will be felt for several months.
This week the sun adheres to Saturn in Scorpio – a condition that clouds the relationship between states and creates problems. It brings with it a sense of economic gloominess due to financial events and problematic news. Better to wait out the storm and then make decisions.
Towards the end of the first week of November, Venus enters Capricorn, economically speaking, a bad location. There will be a need for economic reduction due to depletion of resources, materials and funds. It will be necessary to regroup for the near future. Financial issues will play a major role under the influence of Venus in Capricorn.
On November 7th Jupiter begins its four-month retrograde. Jupiter’s withdrawal makes for a huge gap between expectations and achievements. People may tend to overestimate their economic prowess and see phenomenal success, while in reality; there will be few if any success stories.
This time Jupiter in Cancer indicates that the housing issue is on the agenda. This is a period that could mean greater difficulty selling houses, or possibly a dramatic change in the housing market.
Second week in November
At the beginning of the second week there is a good aspect for Neptune and Venus – there may be discoveries in the oil and gas market and prices will rise. Maybe this is an opportunity for earnings in the field. The week between the 10th to the 16th, a square is formed by stars that will influence the susceptibility to natural disasters on a mega scale – an attack that could undermine the existing global environmental balance. This is a powerful crisis with economic implications.
Third week in November
We continue with the bad economic events factors concerns. Preoccupation with issues of banks, interest rates, mortgages, triggering concern. Many events will disrupt the routine. Strikes, Accident costs on the agenda. It’s time to be careful not to start a new job, do not sign any transactions under these aspects. Nothing is stable and is not guaranteed. You should avoid major purchases.
Fourth week in November
Precisely the last week is a good one for new beginnings. Like the phoenix rising, work opportunities and the signing of contracts will be more prevalent. On the 23rd the sun moves into Sagittarius. The sun’s optimistic nature, hope and belief awaken and positive thinking is the order of the day. Under its influence people tend to spend more money, believe in positive solutions to difficult financial situations, but this time ….the sun has entered Sagittarius on the wrong foot. (A 90 degree aspect to Neptune in Pisces) which can cause some people to fall victim to fraud. Precaution is necessary to ward off glittering but phony temptations. Restrain from risk taking and purchases on that day.
From November 26 to early December the sun is at a harmonious aspect of 120 degrees. Uranus is in Aries, and business takes a turn for the better. Even changes that seem difficult will prove to be beneficial in the end. There will be unexpected financial gains, rewarding financial speculation and unexpected opportunities will appear on the scene.
