After an initial rendezvous in Milan, on the morning of 7 May 2013, where so many gorgeous Lamborghinis adorned — like modern day sculptures — the parc fermé in Piazza Castello, a convoy of 350 Lamborghini super sports cars left the teeming city on 8 May, as the biggest reunion ever of cars from the House of the Raging Bull commenced their Grand Tour — a segment of Lamborghini’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.

The tour went through the beautiful landscapes of Lombardia, Toscana, Lazio, Umbria and Emilia Romagna, stopping over in Forte dei Marmi, Grosseto, Roma, San Giustino Valdarno and Bologna, where they arrived on 10 May in the afternoon.
On Saturday, 11 May, the Lamborghinis departed for Sant’Agata Bolognese, where the final celebrations of the 50th anniversary took place.
The convoy was more than 4.5 km in length, displaying a combined power of more than 190, 000 hp. It was a true open air exhibition of all the models that not only depicted the history of the brand, it displayed the eternal beauty of its designs. It included the entire model range, starting with the first Lamborghini car to be produced, the 1963 350 GT, right up to the current Gallardo and Aventador models. Drivers and co-drivers arrived from all over the world. Male chauvinist take note: 35% of them were women; their ages range from 22 to 75 years old, and all share a passion for the classy brand one generation after the other.
From Sant’Agata Bolognese they took off yesterday (12 May) to Bobbio in their 2013 march of beauty, class and glory only Italians know how to materialize.
