Judy Shalom Nir-Mozes-Shalom, an Israeli media personality and the wife of Israeli Vice Prime Minister and Interior Minister Silvan Shalom, tweeted a racist joke about President Obama on Sunday:
A short while later she deleted the tweet and published an apology :

I apologize, that was a stupid joke somebody told me.

She also tweeted, “President Obama I shouldnt have written the inappropriate joke I heard. I like people no matter about their race and religion.” And also, “Sorry if I caused any offence to anyone. I hope I will stay married when my husband will land and hear what I did.”
This is not the first time that Mrs. Shalom has gotten herself in trouble on Twitter. Just last month when the President joined Twitter for the first time she posted a poorly worded ( and/or translated) tweet which read, ““@POTUS well come, I hope u ‘ll write from The hurt of barack, and not from the head of Rrsedent Obama. Kisses from israel.”
Her latest comes during a period of animosity between the Israeli and American governments that can sometimes be intensely personal. Former Israeli ambassador to the U.S. and new member of the Knesset Michael Oren offended the American government just last week with a very hostile criticism of President Obama in an op-ed post in the Wall Street Journal.
But Mrs. Moses comments were especially harmful as they took a clearly racist tone at a time when Americans are mourning nine people who were murdered by a racist man in a Charleston church only because they were black.
