Google has updated its Google Maps app for Android. Now when you search for a specific business, Google will warn you if it will be closed by the time that you arrive.
How annoying is it when you makes plans to go out to eat, only to find that the restaurant has closed by the time that you get there? Now, when standing on the street, or hanging out somewhere with friends, and deciding at the last minute to go somewhere like a restaurant or some other place of entertainment, if you look for the location with the Google Maps app it will warn you if it will be closed before you can get there.

In another update, when a users search for “my events” they will now also see car rental reservations from their GMail, in addition to flights and hotels.
