William Shatner Will Voice a New Version of The Popular Animated Series ‘The Clangers’

He will also star on the new series “Better Late Than Never.”

William Shatner has two new television projects coming up for NBC-Universal. One will be a remake of an old British animated series called “The Clangers” and the other will be a remake of a South Korean comedy to be called “Better Late than Never.”

The former Captain of the Enterprise will also play Mark Twain in an upcoming episode of “Murdoch Mysteries.”

“Better Late Than Never, ” which is based on the South Korean show “Grandpas Over Flowers” will appear on NBC and co-star Henry Winkler, Terry Bradshaw and George Forman.

The one hour show will see the actors travel through Asian cities such as, Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Chang Mai.

As for “The Clangers, ” the reboot of the old BBC cartoon will be made for the Sprout children’s network. The show features stop action animated alien knitted figures which look like mice.
