Rick Salomon and Pamela Anderson have finalized their divorce. The Jewish celebrity poker player will have to pay the former Baywatch babe $1 million.
This is actually the couple’s second divorce. The two, who are both 47, were married the first time back in 2007, but had that one annulled after only two months. They then re-married in 2011.
They released a public statement about it saying, “Public divorces can be harsh and cruel – we apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused-we have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on. There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well.”

The two had been feuding for some time over the terms of their divorce. If you think that $1 million is a lot for Anderson to get considering the fortune that she has amassed over the last 20 years from all of her television shows and nude picture, keep in mind what she wanted from Salomon and the laws of California where they live.
That state has a community property law, but Salomon claims Nevada residency for tax purposes. That state has no income tax, but California does and Salomon reportedly has more than $40 million in earnings from his poker career.
Things got ugly a few months ago when Anderson accused her now ex-husband of being violent with her and sought a restraining order against him.
