Publicis Groupe is moving from 950 sixth avenue to 1675 Broadway and is expanding by 100, 000 square feet, and extending its lease to 2031, as reported by the Real Deal. The global advertising company was occupying 480, 000 square feet of space and now will have 580, 000, and this marks one of the biggest New York expansion deals of the year so far.
Publicis’ office will be in the second through 16 floors and 24 through 30 floors of the 35 story tower. Bill Rudin of Rudin Management says the deal shows how Midtown is appealing to technology companies, such as Yahoo, Snapchat and Viacom.

Last Spring, Rudin teamed up with Eyal Ofer for a 200 unit super luxury condominium conversion in the West Village, which has been constructed on the site of the old St. Vincent hospital. The new development was called Greenwich Lane, and runs between 11th and 12th street at Seventh Avenue.
