Two policemen have been killed among the 11.

Witnesses reported the gunmen cried out: “We’ve avenged the honor of the prophet!”
Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine, is known for publishing controversial cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in 2012.
“It’s a massacre. There are dead!” an employee of the newspaper told French media outlet 20 minutes, and then the call disconnected.
“Several men in black cagoules were heard to shout ‘the Prophet has been avenged'”, wrote Pierre de Cossette, a broadcast journalist with Europe1 News.
“I think there are casualties, ” said the publication’s cartoonist, Renaud Luzier.
