Madonna’s Guy Oseary Takes Material Offline after Leaks

Guy Oseary Madona

Madonna is taking her music off the internet and is demanding those who work with her leave their phones at the door, “That is how leaks happen, ” she told Billboard. What prompted this decision was the appearance of 13 recordings that were stolen from her new album and were making their way online. Madonna released six tracks from her album. She has now decided the only way to play it safe is to keep all of her production material off networks.

Madonna told Billboard, “We don’t put things up on servers anymore. Everything we work on, if we work on computers, we’re not on WiFi, we’re not on the internet, we don’t work in a way where anybody can access information.”

It isn’t certain whether the attack came from someone who hacked their way into Madonna’s personal systems or it was an inside job. “Rebel Heart” appeared on the internet in November, and Madonna, who sometimes calls herself Esther, and her Israeli manager Guy Oseary immediately appealed to fans on social media to provide any information on how the leak happened and pleaded with them not to download unauthorized material. On instagram she wrote, ” I am asking my true fans and supporters who respect me as a human to not get involved with the purchasing trading or posting of unreleased images or music.”

“We have photo shoots or video shoots, everyone has to  leave their phone at the door. I mean, unfortunately, it sucks, but that is the way it is. That’s how leaks happen.”
