Barbara Walters, 85, sought fit to include Taylor Swift in her 10 Most Fascinating People List for 2014. Us magazine reported on the interview:
Walters started out by emphasizing Swift to Swift that she was no Miley Cyrus ( not mentioning her name. Of course, that can only be a good thing). “You have such a good reputation. You have never been ‘the bad girl.’ You don’t drink, you don’t smoke.”

“Oh, but I do drink, ” said Taylor Swift. Then she reminded Walters she was 25, she didn’t drink before she was legal, but people seem surprised when she has a beer at a ball game.
“I put my actions through a filter before I do them because that’s the way my life is.” She avoids doing “reckless, thoughtless, careless” things a 10 year old fan could read about. Walters asked her if this wasn’t a huge responsibility, and she said it was good to “keep things in check…It’s not a golden cage.”
While she reportedly had flings with a list of high profile guys: John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, and according to rumor Matt Healy, Swift says she isn’t really in the mood to have a serious relationship now.
Walters complimented Swift on her sanity. “You seem very sane. That is not fashionable all the time. You seem very centered.”
“I think all the time about big concepts in my life, ” said Swift. In additions to the huge questions, Swift says her supportive family is one reason she is so sane.
