Some terrible allegations have been made against Jewish mayor of the Ukranian town of Dniepropetrovsk, Igor Kolomoisky. Last July, he was accused of murder and human rights violations, including “prohibited methods of warfare.” In the past, he has dismissed these claims as Russian propaganda fueled by his desire to strengthen the Ukranian army against Russian assault.
Now Yuri Boyco, leader of the Ukranian Opposition Front and Oleg Lyashko, leader of the extremist Radical Party are asking President Piotr Poroshenko to have Kolomoisky dismissed for disrupting elections. Kolomoisky is the third richest man in the Ukraine, is accused by the far right fascist Radical Party of betraying national interests.
