It’s tough being a reality TV star. Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel suffered terrible burns on her arm (see image above) and has been disowned by her mother while she goes through a very public divorce. At the same time she has been checking out apartments in New York.
Frankel took to Twitter to reveal a picture of two burns on her arm from a cooking accident. She wrote in the caption, “I’m definitely a chef & not a cook if this oven burn is any indication. I wasn’t even making anything exciting.”

The gorgeous 45 year old was also photographed with a bandage on her right arm as she picked her daughter up from school.
Burns aside, Frankel’s mother, Bernadette Birk, is no fan of hers. Birk has sold unflattering stories about her daughter to the tabloids and has said that she does not care if the two will ever speak with one another again.
This comes after Birk claimed that Frenkel stole the recipe for her famous Skinnygirl cocktail from Birk.
Frankel, for her part, was sharply critical of her mother in her autobiography, saying that her childhood was filled with alcoholism, eating disorders and violence.
Birk responded to all that by saying of her daughter, “Bethenny spread vicious and horrible lies about me simply for publicity. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and I always left the door open for her, but she destroyed it and now that door is shut forever!”
Meanwhile, the New York Post is reporting that Frenkel is once again apartment shopping. The reality star is considering a townhouse at 225 Hudson Street in Manhattan’s Hudson Square.
The three-bedroom, 3½-bathroom house comes with a 1, 466-square-foot garden with a grill and cedar deck. Its current asking price is $4.65 million, down from $5.25 million. That’s a real bargain considering the current value of Manhattan real estate.
In other Frankel news, Us Weekly recently reported that the Real Housewives of NY wants her back after seeing a dismal drop in its ratings.
In an interview with Sirius XM radio she said about the rumors, “Well I feel like I’m going to get in trouble if I say what I’m actually doing with Andy. So I don’t want to say much more, but I haven’t signed anything and I have a great relationship with Andy and the housewives and they’ve asked me to come back for years.”
