May 2013: Get away from China

/ By Pnina Katz /

May 2013 – this is a month which will demonstrate strong tendencies towards both good and bad. Our star map shows a concentration of stars around Taurus. For astrologers this gives a strong indication to look towards East Asia. Beware of investments in China.

CHINA

China’s birth chart is based on the date of the founding of the new state on October 1st 1949, at 3:01:36 a.m. China was born in Libra with Aquarius and the Moon on the horizon. She was born by revolution and continues to evolve further by revolutionary economic changes. China’s karma is the karma of popular revolution. The Moon on the horizon represents the people.

Even so the base of this huge country is somewhat unstable. There are many icons on the map which concern the army, weapons, and aggression perhaps reminiscent of royalty, with aspects of corruption and lack of compassion. The star chart for 2013-2014 clearly indicates the possibility of economic recession there.

The stars are on the aspect indicating an identity crisis in power relationships, possibly with far-reaching economic effects. There may be arguments and disagreement with an internal struggle that could even lead to governmental changes. In the background there may be protests demanding higher wages for working Chinese people.

You could say that even though we will not see an immediate drop, China’s economy may begin to slow down considerably. It is important therefore to be careful about long-term investments there including marketing investments for product introductions.

The star map for  India also shows the same cold east wind that could affect the economy in the whole of East Asia in the years ahead.

May 2013 forecast

May 1st to May 2nd – renewed optimism and hope for economic improvement.  This period is good for taking profit in investments and in the real estate and banking sectors.

May 2nd to May 6th – may have to deal with a crisis, especially at work, or in communications.

News relating to work and unemployment may not be very good. Take good care during this period not to sign agreements or contracts, especially labour contracts. The stars also indicate the possibility of the beginning of a medical epidemic.

May 4th to May 7th – the alignment of the stars will be good for making long-term investments. However, one must take into account international developments in financial markets.

There is a complex cosmology involved – under the surface things are happening on a large scale. There is much speculation and heavy involvement of global banking. Time for great care and, when Mercury opposes Saturn turn to creative thinking. Think of different approaches and  lateral thinking  out of the box may be the best approach.

May 7th to May 8th – there will great nervousness, restlessness, neurotic reactions and it is a time for safety in business matters: avoid speculative steps. The Telecommunications sector may suffer. Media, Press and companies engaged in communication products and the automotive sector are all industries on the verge of the end of one era and the beginning of the next.

May 9th to May 10 – there may be problems in stock markets particularly concerning banks and real estate. Reports may circulate of extreme events in different parts of the world. During this period play it safe, do not speculate and wait for calmer conditions.

May 10th to May 14th – days of illusions, errors, mistakes and fraud. Beware of those tempting you into adventures that seem “too good to be realistic.” Close proximity of Taurus, Mars and Mercury creates nervousness in the markets.

May 12th to May 15th – dramatic natural events may cause damage to agricultural and other natural resources  Certain basic supplies may be in short supply.  There may be an increase in prices as supply-related issues in basic commodities dominate the headlines.

Absolutely everything related to the automotive, technology and  media sectors could be affected. Financially, this period is not good for investing.

The star map for Israel also shows an impact on interest rates, banks and real estate. Please  take this into account in any investments you make in these fields.

May 16th to May 20th – we are experiencing confusion, and communication issues become ever more chaotic: there are lies floating on the surface. People tend to get confused between reality and fantasy. Beware of all those who are offering advice: it is holiday time for charlatans and scammers making a drive on innocent people. Misleading and frothy financial markets may lead to financial and economic surprises of many kinds.

May 21st to May 26th – we feel lighter moments are coming, but still consider the problematic aspect with Neptune is a dangerous and possibly deceptive juxtaposition. People making mistakes with money may not fully understand the implications that this will have for their lives.

May 24th to May 26th – there is a chance of severe natural events. Maybe a hurricane or natural disasters like floods, events with great vulnerability for those living nearby.

May 27th to May 29th – days of a strong star aspect in communications, energy, media and the press. These are days with greater hope for the better, and many of you may experience positive financial surprises.
