Bill Gates Soaks Self on Mark Zuckerberg Dare

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge involves dumping a bucket of ice water on your head, unless you make a donation to the ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) Association.

There are serious disputes over the origins of this pastime, we’ll stay away from that and report that it starts with a celebrity daring another celebrity over Social Media to perform some crazy ass feat in 24 hours, and should they fail, to pay up or face the bucket.

Feel free to donate even if you got soaked.

One common stipulation gives 24-hours to complete the mission from the time they are nominated and if they don’t complete the dare they have to donate $100 to charity. If you complete the challenge then the individual only has to donate $10

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig’s disease, causes degeneration of nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.

Justin Timberlake, Adam Levine, Ansel Elgort, Mark Zuckerberg, and the cast of Grey’s Anatomy have all faced the challenge.

Then Zuckerberg dared Bill Gates, and Gates decided to create an apparatus that allowed him to simply pull a rope to soak himself with the ice water.
