In the midst of Operation Protective Edge, the Temple Institute is calling on “all who truly believe in a better future for all mankind to invest in what all the prophets of Israel have described as the ultimate way to bring about unprecedented peace and tranquility: the rebuilding of the Temple, the promised house of peace and prayer for all nations.”

The campaign begins on the first of the Jewish month of Av, just days before Jews worldwide commemorate the 9th of Av, the Jewish national day of mourning for the destruction of the Holy Temples.

The campaign has been launched in tandem with the latest in a popular series of emotionally-charged, viral videos that re-frame the message of the 9th of Av from one of mourning to building, culminating in the one below:

“For two thousand years we have prayed daily to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the Holy Temple, ” said Rabbi Chaim Richman, international director of The Temple Institute. “This is the Jewish vision of peace. In these decisive times, when our nation is under constant threat and the peace we so fervently seek seems more elusive than ever, we believe with full conviction that the Temple will be rebuilt and that peace will prevail.”
