In yet another display of Israel’s leading defense technological developments, Israel’s Directorate for International Defense Cooperation (SIBAT), in collaboration with top Israeli defense companies, showcased cutting-edge military technology at IDEX 2025, one of the world’s leading defense exhibitions. Held this week in Abu Dhabi, the event brought together global industry leaders to explore advancements in defense and security.
The International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) is a premier defense exhibition serving as a global platform for showcasing cutting-edge defense technologies and fostering collaboration among international defense entities.
The Israeli delegation, led by SIBAT Director Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Yair Kulas, showcased innovative defense solutions at the Israeli national pavilion. It presented advanced technologies in force protection, C4ISR, logistics, and unmanned systems.

The pavilion’s inauguration ceremony was attended by Israel’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Yossi Sheli, the Head of the Defense Export Control Agency (DECA), Racheli Chen, the President and CEO of Elbit Systems, Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, and other senior industry officials.
The pavilion showcased groundbreaking innovations, unveiling next-generation personal protection plates, cutting-edge tactical medical gear, battle-tested drone defense systems, and state-of-the-art communication solutions. These technologies have not only been developed but have also proven their effectiveness in real-world operations, redefining the future of modern warfare.
