Israeli AI cybersecurity startup Clarity, which has developed a platform for detecting deepfakes, raised $16 million in a Seed funding round led by Walden Catalyst Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners. Lava Network, another Israeli startup that builds infrastructure for scaling blockchain data access, raised $15 million in a Seed Round of funding as well. And Israeli startup Seal Security brought in $7.4 million in a Seed funding round led by Vertex Ventures Israel,

Founded in 2022 by Michael Matias (CEO), Natalie Fridman (CTO), and Gil Avriel (CSO & COO), Clarity is an AI cybersecurity startup that protects against deepfakes and new social engineering and phishing attack vectors accelerated by the rapid adoption of Generative AI. Its patent-pending technology detects AI manipulations in videos, images, and audio and authenticates media with encrypted watermarking. Clarity’s AI DeepFake Firewall integrates into new and existing workflows. It enables publishers and intelligence agencies to verify sensitive media, financial institutions to prevent fraud, and enterprises to filter manipulated media and create an AI-safe media environment. Founded by AI and Cyber experts from 8200, Stanford, and Israel’s National Security Council, it is advised and backed by global leaders in the AI and cyber industries.

Also founded in 2022, Lava Network is a decentralized network of API providers, where developers make one subscription to access any blockchain. Providers are rewarded for their quality of service, so your users can fetch data and send transactions with maximum speed, data integrity and uptime. Pairings are randomized, meaning your users can make make queries or transact in privacy.

“At Lava, our vision is to unlock innovation across web3 by giving developers total flexibility to build with the most performant and scalable infrastructure,” said Yair Cleper, Founder and Core Contributor of Lava. “For a long time, infrastructure providers decide which chains to serve – they control the keys to all the doors. Developers use Lava to build whatever, wherever.”

Seal Security boasts that it revolutionizes supply chain security operations, empowering organizations to automate and scale their open source vulnerability remediation and patch management. Founded by three software vulnerability experts with more than 30 years of combined experience in vulnerability mitigation and exploitation. Seal Security is the first generative AI solution for automated, scalable open source vulnerability remediation.

“Open source software is at the core of almost every innovation, yet securing it requires tremendous amounts of manual labor and cross-department collaboration,” said Itamar Sher, CEO and co-founder of Seal Security. “We tackle this problem head-on by enabling security teams to automate and scale their vulnerability remediation. Seal Security provides organizations with centralized control over the vulnerability patching process—without requiring involvement from R&D— reducing the MTTR from months to hours.”
