Visionary.ai, an Israeli startup that uses AI for real time video enhancement, received a multi-million-dollar investment from National Grid Partners (NGP), the venture investment and innovation arm of National Grid plc., one of world’s largest investor-owned energy companies.
Founded in 2021, Visionary AI empowers cameras to achieve the next generation of image quality. The company says that its software-based ISP (Image Signal Processor) leverages AI to achieve “market-leading performance” on a wide range of imaging tasks such as low-light imaging, de-noising, exposure control, and high dynamic range.
Visionary AI boasts that its technology both dramatically improves image quality, and increases the accuracy and capabilities of detection and recognition algorithms. Other product features include gaze correction, bokeh, and depth maps on any sensor.
