Flash Networks announced today that it has acquired Mobixell, an Israeli developer of network optimization. Transaction volume was not reported , however it is estimated that this 10-20 million. The deal is expected to be formally closed by the end of January 2014.
This acquisition results in a combined market share larger than any other independent vendor, with hundreds of deployments, serving over one billion subscribers worldwide.
Flash Networks said the acquisition will enable it to increase its market share and meet the demand for optimization , acceleration and optimization of communication services following the ” monstrous growth ” end- user devices, multimedia content richness and speed of 3G networks, 4G and LTE.

Mobixell , established 13 years ago, in 2000, by Judah Elmaleh and Amir Aharoni. The company has about 180 employees.
