Cybersecurity is more important than ever. Hackers are not only motivated by money or politics. They often just like being malicious. So even small companies need to be on their guard and be sure to properly protect their systems. In recent times several different Israeli companies were ransomware attacks by the Black Shadow hackers.

Everything is in the cloud now. Companies like Microsoft are switching over to cloud based services for their software. Soon you won’t even be able to download Office programs anymore; it will all be software as a service offered on line.
And Startup Nation is known for its security companies. The Israel Defense Forces’ vaunted 8200 cyber security unit produces many new high tech security experts. With the Corona Virus forcing everyone to work from home, communicate through applications like Zoom and use all manner of software as a service programs on line security is more important than ever.
Hunters explains that cloud adoption further accelerated through the pandemic, which expanded the attack surface into further introduced yet more activity feeds and volume into the stack, which in turn generated more raw data and security events.
“Hunters’ customer engagements are accelerating with Fortune 1000 Companies adopting XDR to be at the heart of their security operations,” said Uri May, CEO and co-founder of Hunters. “Traditional security tools like SIEM have not fulfilled the need to clearly and rapidly identify and investigate threats at the scale of cloud data, leaving a crucial gap in supporting security analysts. Open XDR offers a new technology approach with a turn-key solution that stitches security events from across the entire security stack into contextualized and prioritized incidents. This maximizes the value security teams are getting from their current stack and enables them to see real incidents and rapidly respond.”
