Jeremy Bronfman, heir to the great Seagram’s family fortune, has bought a new home in Santa Monica, California for $30 million. He will live there with his wife Stephanie Beck Bronfman. The couple have been living nearby, renting a large Tuscan-inspired Santa Monica mansion for the last four years at a cost of $30,000 per month, according to a report in Dirt.com.
The house was last sold back in 2006 for $10.5 million. So that it almost tripled in value in 14 years. It was previously owned by fashion designer Moise Emquies and his wife Carol Ann Emquies. The couple recently divorced and sold the estate to Jeremy Bronfman as part of their settlement.
The home is a 1920s Spanish Colonial-style mansion. It has 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms over 8,085 square feet of space. It sits on 1.13 acres of land and was built in 1925.

The house is right by the exclusive Riviera Country Club. The club’s initiation fee is more than $250,000 and its members reportedly include Adam Sandler, Mark Wahlberg, and Larry David.
Aerial photos show that the estate comes with an outdoor BBQ and kitchen area, vegetable gardens, and several fountains. The estate itself is hidden from the street behind tall walls and even taller hedges.
