The chief of Iran’s air force said Monday that Iran is impatient to fight against Israel and destroy the Jewish state. He said it during a visit to the Air Force’s academy following the IDF’s attack Revolutionary Guards military targets in Damascus, said Young Journalists Club news agency.
The news website affiliated with Iran’s state television quoted Brigadier General Aziz Nassirzadeh as saying that the Air Force’s “young generation are impatient and fully ready for a fight against the Zionist regime to wipe it off the Earth.”

The Israeli warplanes launched early morning a massive attack on munition storage facilities, an intelligence site and a military training camp in Syria, according to Isreli military.
The IDF said their activity is “a direct response to Iran’s surface-to-surface rocket—intercepted by the Iron Dome aerial defense system—launched by the Quds Force from Syrian territory at the northern Golan Heights on Sunday.” It was aimed at a popular ski site on Mount Hermon.
The Quds Force are spearheading the Iranian Revolutionary Guards overseas operations. The attack killed at least 11 pro-regime fighters, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based monitoring organization.
Russian sources said the Syrian military’s air defenses destroyed more than 30 cruise missiles and guided bombs during the Israeli air strikes.
The IDF confirmed its jets came under fire from anti-aircraft missiles during the raid, prompting the military to strike Syrian defense batteries.
“We have a permanent policy, to strike at the Iranian entrenchment in Syria and hurt whoever tries to hurt us,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday.
The prime minister and former IDF chief Gadi Eisenkot recently confirmed that Israel had carried out hundreds of attacks in Syria, in an effort to curtail Iran and its Lebanon-based ally Hezbollah.
