Game of Thrones launched its seventh season with a surprise from Google to fans. The fictional Westrose continent comes alive through Google Street View ’s Game of Thrones collection – the real world.
You now can visit and give a close look behind the curtain at various locations and filming sites around the world. Among the memorable sites of the series, you can see the real city that plays the role of King’s Landing, the ravine where Brienne of Tarth took on The Hound, and the gardens that pretend to be the Water Gardens of Dorne.

“The Games of Thrones” based on the series “The Song of Fire and Ice”, is known for its spectacular photography sites, and in the different locations that change almost on a seasonal basis.
Among other things, the locations include sites in Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, Malta, Morocco, and Croatia. Accordingly, Google collected the sites in the series – creating the possibility for users to visit virtual places like Winterfeld or King Maalen.
In total, you can find 33 such sites, to explore them independently as the application allows and experience them from different angles. The locations have received the names of the places as they appear in the series, and each click provides an information window that details the actual geographic location of each site.
