Harold Bornstein is the MD made famous during the Presidential election this year for his unintelligible letters confirming that Donald Trump was in good health. Now Trump’s dumb doc has spoken some more pearls of wisdom in an interview with STAT.
This is the man who actually wrote these words: “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.” Dr. Harold Bornstein ladies and gentlemen — MD, Historian, expert on the physical health of more than 40 Presidents going back 230 years. He must own a time machine.

Here are some excerpts from Harold Bornstein’s interview with STAT.
“If something happens to him, then it happens to him, ” Harold Bornstein says. “It’s like all the rest of us, no? That’s why we have a vice president and a speaker of the House and a whole line of people. They can just keep dying.”
Ohkayyyy, so we should never concern ourselves about our President’s health. This after Trump made a big issue about Hillary’s health during the campaign.
“Ronald Reagan had pre-senile dementia. I mean, seriously, did they share that one with you, or did Nancy just cover it up?”
Uhmmm, well doc, they should have. It was not a good thing that the most powerful man in the world could have been mentally unfit for office at any time. That is why they passed the 25th amendment to the U.S. Constitution which allows the Vice-President and a majority of the cabinet to vote to declare the President unfit, if only temporarily. And the President himself can choose to stand aside if ill.
Then he actually threatened the writer after changing his mind about the interview. When it was over and Bornstein insisted that it not be published he said, “I happen to have known the Sulzbergers [owners of the New York Times] for 50 years. I’m going to make sure you don’t ever work again if you do this.”
