Thirty year old Emmy Rossum had been holding out to get paid as much money as her co-star William Macy. While Macy was certainly a lot more famous than Rossum when the show first went on the air in 2011, and was originally the center of the show, Rossum is certainly now famous enough herself and her character, Fiona Gallagher, has become Shamless’ anchor. Both the actress and the character have matured a great deal over the last six years.

And William Macy is very happy for his co-star. He told TMZ, “She works as hard as I do. She deserves everything.”
So good for you Emmy Rossum.
