Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is listed in the credits for Star Trek Beyond, playing an alien in the third installment of the sci-fi movie.  Director Justin Lin and producer J.J. Abrams confirmed his participation on Friday.

“He was awesome, ” Lin said, according to the Associated Press. “It was like a president was visiting, you know? He had a big entourage! But it didn’t matter because he was so into it. He had to wait around all day because it was one day we were shooting like three different scenes and, it was also credit to Jeff because…he just nailed it every time.”

Actor Chris Pine said “I was there for the bit with his, like, nine bodyguards and three limos. It was really intense. I had no idea who he was. Not a clue. But he was obviously very important.”

The billionair is a Trek fan and has spoken in before of his passion for “Star Trek”. He said his childhood dreams of space led him to found his space travel company, Blue Origin.

“Listen – you can’t keep people away, ” Abrams told AP, laughing. “I saw it, I thought it was funny.”

Bezos will be seen on screen among a cast of Zachary Quinto, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, and more when the film debuts July 22.

J.J. Abrams also confirmed that Chris Hemsworth is set to return in Star Trek 4 most likely to resurrect his role as George Kirk, father of Captain James T. Kirk.
