Ronaldo buys Israel Aerospace Gulfstream jet for $20.5 million

The Real Madrid star paid $20.5 million for the Gulfstream G200 business jet, the Portuguese media reports.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has bought a business jet made by Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI). The Portuguese media reports that he paid $20.5 million, for the second-hand Gulfstream G200. The football star has bought an old version of the IAI’s jet. In 2011 the G200 was superseded by the improved G280.

The aircraft has capacity to carry up to to ten passengers, and cruising speed of 850 kilometers per hour. US company Gulfstream, which has marketing rights for the jet, produces the luxury interiors: Two bathrooms for crew members and passengers, wardrobes, internet access, telephone, fax, microwave, electric oven, fridge for drinks and entertainment systems.

According to “Correo da Manha, ” Ronaldo took his inaugural flight this week when flying from his home in Madrid to London to watch the premier of the film documentary about him.
