Eleos Health, an Israeli medtech startup that develops CareOps Automation for behavioral health, raised $60 million in a Series C funding round led by Greenfield Partners. This round brings Eleos’ total funding to over $120 million.
Hot on the heels of its recent Series B, this preemptive funding round underscores Eleos’ meteoric rise as the leading enterprise-grade behavioral health AI solution. By specializing deeply in behavioral health, Eleos has empowered AI agents to revolutionize care delivery while freeing providers from overwhelming administrative tasks.
The infusion of new capital will fuel Eleos’ expansion into underserved segments of behavioral healthcare, with a strong focus on substance use disorder (SUD) treatment centers. Eleos also plans to scale its offerings and grow its commercial team. With post-acute behavioral healthcare—a historically underfunded $11 billion market—at the heart of its strategy, Eleos is poised to redefine the future of health tech in this critical domain.

The Series C announcement comes alongside the debut of Eleos Compliance, a groundbreaking clinical documentation improvement (CDI) solution. Built in collaboration with legal and regulatory experts from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, Eleos Compliance offers behavioral health organizations near-instant review of every submitted progress note.
Harnessing agentic AI—the next evolution of artificial intelligence that proactively delivers insights—Eleos Compliance identifies potential documentation errors before they escalate into costly fines or payment clawbacks. This proactive, AI-driven approach streamlines the appeals process, fortifies compliance efforts, and supports organizations in maintaining accreditation with ease.
Co-founded in 2020 by Alon Joffe, Alon Rabinovich, and Dror Zaide, Eleos Health boasts a breakthrough clinical application for voice artificial intelligence AI, operating ambiently in the background of behavioral health clinician-patient conversations (full patient consent and permission are pre-conditions of clinical use). This can be used by mental health professionals to get a better understanding of what their patients are feeling when they speak during sessions.
Eleos Health explains that 30 million Americans are living with untreated mental health conditions. Even the most optimistic math shows that the current supply of 600,000 active licensed U.S. therapists falls far short of meeting patient demand. As the U.S. works to expand its behavioral health workforce, existing mental health care providers are shouldering a crushing workload, with self-reported burnout rates among psychiatrists at 78%.
Eleos has achieved remarkable growth, tripling its annual revenue in each of its first three years and doubling its revenue in 2024. With over 120 customer organizations across 30+ states, Eleos has become the most widely deployed AI platform in behavioral health. The recent investment from Greenfield will accelerate the expansion of Eleos’ product portfolio and market reach. Additionally, the company plans to strengthen its team by bringing in more senior leaders and bolstering its data and engineering talent as part of this funding round.
“From day one, Eleos has been committed to empowering clinicians — not replacing them — and expanding their capacity,” said Alon Joffe, Co-Founder and CEO of Eleos. “By building on our agents for clinical documentation and patient engagement, our new Compliance product is the next step in our mission to free up clinicians’ time and energy to focus on care rather than administrative bottlenecks. With this round of funding, we’re doubling down on the development of intelligent AI systems that drive efficiency and help providers capture the revenue they need to thrive and reach more people in need.”
