Ubeya is an Israeli startup that offers a temporary workforce management platform. The firm raised $10 million in a funding round led by U.S. fund EGP (Equipment Grants Program). EPG is an American government program that provides eligible institutions with an opportunity to acquire one major piece of equipment/instrument that supports their fundamental and/or applied research goals and may be too costly and/or not appropriate for support through other NIFA grant programs.
Founded in 2017 by CEO Omri Dekalo and CTO Yuval Weinbaum, Ubeya has developed a SaaS B2B platform designed for temporary workforce management. It bridges the gap between staffing firms, businesses, and temp workers by automating and optimizing work processes with AI-driven solutions for scheduling, communication, payroll, compliance and supplier management.
Ubeya serves as a network hub for all entities in the temporary work environment, fostering stronger communication and loyalty, and increasing supplier-client engagement and visibility. Ubeya unifies scattered communication channels, increases worker engagement and retention, and reduces no-show rate.

Ubeya’s workforce management platform is designed for companies that rely on hourly staff at the core of their operation. For this type of business, it can be extremely challenging to manage or oversee the performance of a disperse event-based workforce. The Ubeya platform connects all parties, helping businesses book, track, monitor and reward their hourly staff.
The name Ubeya is inspired by the Japanese concept of the “Great Room”— a central space where people come together to solve problems and discuss urgent matters. This idea of collaboration and efficiency is at the core of their platform and guides us as we continue to develop innovative solutions for the future of work.
After a previous fundraise, Omri Dekalo, CEO of Ubeya said, “Ubeya connects the dots for an ecosystem which is full of challenges such as seasonality, high turnover or lack of information about staff skills. It is amazing to see our clients smoothly running the entire staffing operation on our platform, but what makes us most excited is helping thousands of people find great work opportunities.”
