Israeli Startups Sequence and Prompt Security Make Small Raises

Prompt Security

The Prompt Security team (Prompt Security)

Prompt Security, an Israeli startup that offers generative AI security for enterprises, raised $5 million in a Seed round of funding led by Hetz Ventures with participation from Four Rivers and angels including CISOs at Airbnb, Elastic, and Dolby. And its fellow Israeli startup Sequence, which offers users the ability to visualize their cash flow, came out of stealth with a $5.5 million raise led by Aleph.

Founded in 2022, people can create ports in Sequence and connect their incoming funds to it. People can connect their existing bank accounts, credit-cards, financial apps, or Crypto wallets. Sequence integrates with thousands of financial institutions. Sequence brings together all bank accounts, credit cards, savings funds, investments, and more into one platform, providing an intuitive and dynamic UI money map. The platform is designed to make financial management accessible to everyone with its user-friendly interface.

“It’s the power to buy what you need, go where you want, and live the life you dream up for yourself. Its stability,” says Sequence. “A future for your family. Long-term health and happiness. At least, it should be. Instead, it’s often a painful reminder of how much you don’t control. More money, more problems.”

Founded in 2023 by CEO Golan and CTO Lior Drihem, Prompt Security enables enterprises to benefit from the adoption of Generative AI while protecting from the full range of risks to their applications, employees and customers. At every touchpoint of Generative AI in an organization — from AI tools used by employees to GenAI integrations in customer-facing products — Prompt inspects each prompt and model response to prevent the exposure of sensitive data, block harmful content, and secure against GenAI-specific attacks. The solution also provides leadership of enterprises with complete visibility and governance over the AI tools used within their organization.

“Generative AI is rapidly infiltrating enterprises and this brings a world of new high-stakes risks,” said Itamar Golan, CEO and co-founder of Prompt Security. “Employees have a strong incentive to share enterprise data with gen AI tools, which are often trained on the data and can leak it afterwards. Likewise, when organizations integrate gen AI into their products it opens them up to a host of security challenges, including models being manipulated by bad actors, and content being generated that is unsafe or infringes on copyright. Yet despite all the risks, gen AI unlocks immense value, and adopting it isn’t a matter of choice — it’s key to business survival.”
