Barbra Streisand spoke about the conflict in Gaza during an interview with the host of Late Show, Stephen Colbert, filmed at her home. Streisand was not exactly pro-Israel during this rare interview given to promote her new memoir “My Name Is Barbra,” speaking more neutral on the Iron Swords War in Gaza.
“It’s so sad. It’s sad about what’s going on today. Meaning, people have to live together even though they are different religions or whatever,” Barbra Streisand said after Stephen Colbert asked her about the rising incidents of anti-Semitism in the world.
“People are people. It’s true. We all want the same thing. We all want love in our hearts. We all want family. We all want to feel secure. I hope for the best because this is heartbreaking what’s happening now with these people, the children, the mothers—doesn’t matter what religion they are. This is beyond religion. This is insanity for us not to learn how to live together in peace.”

“I could easily cry about this. Where is God in this time? Where is he or she? Why can’t that energy stop this madness?”
Barbra Streisand also had a few comments about America’s current political situation. She like Joe Biden and thinks that he has been a good president. And she cannot take the thought that Donald Trump might become president again. Streisand would move to England should that happen.
“I will move,” she said. “I can’t live in this country if he became president.”
Barbra Streisand was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Diana and Emanuel Streisand. She began singing and acting at a young age, and by her teenage years, she was performing in nightclubs and on television. In 1962, she signed a recording contract with Columbia Records, and her debut album, “The Barbra Streisand Album,” was released the following year. The album was a critical and commercial success, and Streisand quickly became one of the most popular singers in the world.
